(More customer reviews)If you observe the night sky using a telescope in a humid environment, then you have probably had an observing session cut short by dew forming on your lens. The Dew Zapper delays/prevents the onset of dew/frost (depending upon conditions) to prolong your observing sessions. The one drawback of this model is that you cannot adjust the heat output of the device, since too much heating can cause tube currents (of air) that tend to affect your viewing. Using a dew heater along with a dew shield (lens shade) will prolong your observing sessions in humid environments.
