(More customer reviews)The canopy is made of a heavy fabric that blocks the light very well. It looks like it will last a long time. However, in order to achieve this light-blocking it feels a little stiff and can be uncomfortable when used for a more than just a few minutes. I don't use it much any more because it is just not all that comfortable, but in a pinch will give you some good light blocking.
